The Dept. of Extension, Career Guidance and
Students Welfare has been retained by the SSA Project (Education for All
Scheme, School Education Directorate, Government of Tamil Nadu) to undertake
a research project on “Absenteeism Among Teachers and Students in Primary
and Middle Schools of Selected Districts in Tamil Nadu”. The project is for
a period of six months from the date of operation. Applications are invited
from the eligible candidates for the following temporary project positions
for a period of six months.
i. Project Associate (one position)
Compensation:
Rs. 8000/- p.m.
Essential qualifications:
a) P.G. degree with 55% marks in Education
/any Social Science subject / Any Extension Education Subject
b) Three years research experience
ii. Project Fellows (Three positions)
Compensation:
Rs. 6000/- p.m.
Essential qualifications:
a) P.G.degree with 55% marks in Education /
any Social Science Subject / Management / Commerce
b) Adequate skills in using computers
for data entry and analysis
The positions involve visits to primary and
middle schools in the selected districts of Tamil Nadu; data entry by using
SPSS packages and preparation of reports. Interested candidates can submit
their CVs with attested copies of their certificates to the Undersigned
before 31.7.2009.
